Century Schoolbook is a serif typeface designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1919 at the request of Ginn & Co., a textbook publisher, which wanted an especially easy-to-read face for textbooks. This font is familiar to many in North America as being the typeface with which many first learned to read.
To me personally, learning how to read and write brings sweet memories of seeing letters and numbers as shapes of animals and objects. This inspired me to explore typography as shapes that make up fun and friendly characters.

To promote partnership between Business Wire and Agility PR Solution, I created email blasts, landing page and social graphics. For the email blasts, I adapted graphic that were provided by Agility and created main image for the campaign that was used across landing page and social.
It all started with a birthday card for my husband. After that, I started working on customized portrait cards for friends and family.

During the summer of 2017, I worked with Petals & Roots to create flyers/social graphics for their in-store events.
With more and more couples tying the knot each year overall cost of a wedding has soared to new heights. After planning my own wedding in 2016, I was inspired to design an infographic that highlights some key numbers from the annual survery conducted by The Knot.
